Affordable Housing Trust funds $7,250 sprinkler repair

Wenham Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of June 2, 2026

Wenham Affordable Housing Trust funds $7,250 in sprinkler repairs for Dexter Lane property. Chair Huntley Skinner and the Trust voted unanimously to pay for systems required under the original subdivision permit, after the property owner declined a town loan and stated he could not cover the cost. The Town's contractor agreement extends only through the end of June, so the repairs must proceed to meet that deadline.

The Trust also discussed a Commonwealth Request for Proposals regarding 24 Cherry Street redevelopment, considering up to $300,000 toward one affordable unit in a three-unit mixed development.
