Wenham Open Space & Recreation Committee agreed to conduct public input on Pingree Park tennis court uses. Committee Chair Ernest Ashley reported that the Select Board confirmed the Higginson Park signage design featuring an interior green circle, and resident Laurie McMahon secured funding through fundraising for a portable restroom at the park. The committee was charged by the Select Board to identify feasible uses for the Pingree Park tennis court area after receiving communications from residents of The Boulders and other abutters.
The committee unanimously agreed to hold a public outreach event this fall to gather community input on potential tennis, pickleball, skateboard, or futsal facilities.
