Conservation Commission grants order of conditions for Juniper Street project.
Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 9, 2026
WENHAM — Conservation Commission unanimously approves Order of Conditions for 27 Juniper Street. Chair Philip Colarusso and Vice Chair Kenneth Whittaker, joined by members Leo Maestranzi and Michael Novak, granted the permit for Joseph DeLorenzo's single-family addition, floating dock, and stormwater improvements at the Pleasant Pond-side property, which includes installation of three 1,000-gallon dry wells and removal of 11 trees. The commission also flagged significant concerns about a Beverly Airport runway expansion proposal that would fill 13,800 square feet of wetlands across six locations within Wenham's jurisdiction, affecting tributaries to the town's drinking water source; no mitigation was offered in the plan, and the commission agreed to coordinate formal comments with the Select Board by March 27.
