Council on Aging approves capital improvements, welcomes new member

Wenham Council on Aging unanimously approves $1,855.78 in capital improvements and technology. Chair Calvin Kline and the board voted to purchase 16 stackable chairs, a nine-foot umbrella for the picnic area, a popup canopy, and a 65-inch LED Smart TV, authorizing a request to the Friends of the Wenham COA for funding. Director Jim Reynolds announced that Helen Mulry will join the board as its ninth member.
The council highlighted recently completed programs including Circuit Breaker Tax Credit, home organization, senior tax exemptions, and financial fraud awareness workshops.
