CPC endorses surcharge report documenting $11 million legacy

Wenham CPC endorses 20-year surcharge summary and approves new signage. The Community Preservation Committee unanimously approved the CPC Surcharge Summary Report, which documents that the town's Community Preservation Act surcharge has generated over $11 million since adoption, funding 80 local projects with a median annual cost to residents of $380. The committee also unanimously voted to purchase 20 temporary signs displaying the town seal from the administrative account.
In other business, members discussed updates to Community Preservation Act application requirements to be resolved at the next meeting.
