WENHAM — Planning Board approved a $144,975 surety bond for the Maple Street/Cynthia Way Definitive Subdivision and released three development lots. The approval includes an additional $7,500 in scenic road compliance requirements beyond the peer reviewer's initial estimate, after Planning Board member David B. Anderson raised concerns about the aesthetic character of initially proposed pea stone frontage; the Board required its removal and placement of loam, seed, and three street trees.
Additional improvement costs are itemized in bond documentation for future inspections and release determinations. The Board voted unanimously to continue its public hearing on a proposed solar installation at 91 Grapevine Road to July.
