Wenham Planning Board continues solar installation hearing at Iron Rail, cites concerns. Solect Energy, on behalf of the town, proposed 508 485-watt solar panels on 79.45 acres under a 25-year power-purchase agreement. The board unanimously voted March 11 to continue the public hearing to April 8, after member David B.

Anderson raised concerns about approximately 20 regulatory requirements and an abutter questioned environmental compliance with wetland and buffer protections. The federal solar tax credit expires June 2026.
