Wenham Select Board backs $100,000 for Dexter Lane affordable housing. The board voted unanimously to authorize the Affordable Housing Trust to spend the funds on completing renovations at 2A Dexter Lane and to authorize rental of the unit to households earning no more than 80 percent Area Median Income, targeting a July move-in date. The board also unanimously scheduled a special election for Thursday, June 11, to fill an open Select Board seat, and unanimously recommended favorable action on a warrant article for the Iron Rail Renewable Energy Lease/PPA credit purchase agreement for solar panels.
