Wenham Select Board approved permanent historic preservation of Old Farm property at 9 Maple Street. Historic New England will hold a preservation restriction protecting the nationally significant historic property's architectural features and landscape indefinitely. The Board also approved Community Preservation Committee grant agreements for two Wenham Museum projects: an HVAC system upgrade and a roof repair for the Claflin-Richards House.
Additionally, the Board authorized the Police Chief to hire one additional full-time patrol officer, resulting in a net cost of approximately 15,000 dollars after budget offsets, and approved extended liquor license hours for Plat du Jour through June 24.
