Wenham Select Board approved a new vendor insurance policy, allowing reduced coverage requirements for low-risk contracts valued under ten thousand dollars. Town Administrator Steve Poulos presented the policy as a response to concerns about small business contracting, explaining that insurance requirements sometimes exceeded contract values. The Board unanimously approved the policy and also voted to authorize Poulos to finalize employment terms for Treasurer/Collector, promoting Assistant Accountant Jennifer Davis to fill the position vacated by Belinda Young's retirement.
The Board held joint meetings discussing a draft demolition delay bylaw for the 2027 warrant and FY27 finance goals.
