SELECT BOARD BACKS TOWN MEETING WARRANT WITH MOSTLY UNIFIED VOTE

Select Board · Meeting of March 3, 2026

WENHAM — Select Board backs town meeting warrant with mostly unified vote. The Select Board and Finance Committee jointly recommended 21 of 22 Annual Town Meeting warrant articles, with dissent only on the Operational Override for Schools and Town, which received a 4-1-0 recommendation from the Select Board (Karen Anger opposed) and a 5-0-0 recommendation from Finance. Town Administrator Steve Poulos won approval 3-1 to use a town vehicle through June 30, with Anger again in dissent over budget concerns.

The Board unanimously approved Todd's Sporting Goods selling custom t-shirts at the May 2 Little League Parade for fundraising. Town Meeting convenes April 9 at Gordon College.
