WENHAM — Select Board presents 23-article warrant ahead of April 9 town meeting. The Board unanimously recommended two articles: an operational override for Hamilton Wenham Regional School District (Article 2) and a bylaw restricting simultaneous service on key town boards (Article 18). Notable articles include the final $96,900 town hall restoration bond payment (Article 13), a specialized energy code aiming to secure $1 million in state grant funding (Article 16), and state-funded Main Street safety improvements including traffic lights, estimated to cost the town $10,000 to $20,000 (Article 21).
The Board also unanimously voted to move a special election for a vacant Select Board seat from June 11 to June 16, 2026.
