Wenham Affordable Housing Trust advances $5.78 million conservation and housing acquisition. Chris LaPointe of Greenbelt and Meegan O'Neill of Habitat for Humanity presented the Streeter Property plan: a 140-acre acquisition to conserve 125 acres and develop affordable housing. Funding includes $2 million from the town, $425,000 state land grant, and $500,000 foundation grant, with approximately $2 million expected from the main house sale and remainder from private fundraising.

The property purchase is scheduled for May with conservation restriction completion in June.
