Wenham climate committee discusses Net Zero pathway and funding access. The Climate Action and Sustainability Committee, chaired by Lucy McGovern, discussed Stretch Code implementation to access state funding and school roof solar panel planning during its February 12 meeting. Jeanne Maurand, representing the Home Energy Improvement Coalition, presented outreach activities including informational documents and library meetings.
Chair McGovern volunteered to coordinate two meetings to assess Stretch Code impact on homeowners and building professionals. The committee also discussed solar panel initiatives on the Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School roof and Town Hall.
