Conservation Commission · Meeting of July 27, 2026

Wenham Conservation Commission approved an accessory dwelling unit septic expansion at 35 Arbor Street. The Commission voted unanimously to issue a negative determination for the Lynnbrook Consulting project on behalf of applicant Bruna DePaula, involving a six-foot leach field extension to serve a one-bedroom unit in an existing garage, with Engineer Rick Clarke confirming the system design requires two tanks per the town Septic Inspector. The Commission continued two other public hearings to August 10: Adam Ross's $5,000 Japanese knotweed eradication plan at 28 Batchelder Park requires clarification of the application method, and Thomas Carnevale's single-family residence at 6 Nicole Avenue, approximately 60 percent within the Border Vegetation Wetlands zone, was continued to allow a site visit and landscape plan review.
