Select Board · Meeting of February 24, 2026
Wenham Select Board schedules spring town meeting for April 9 at Gordon College. The Board and Finance Committee confirmed the FY27 budget will come in below the levy limit, avoiding a tax override, through reductions from regional school assessments and a townwide 2 percent expense cut; the town also expects $690,000 in back taxes from property sales. The boards agreed on capital expenditures including cemetery management software, truck equipment, and vehicle stabilization funds, and will vote to recommend warrant articles on March 3, 2026.
