Wenham Select Board sets spring elections and appoints public safety personnel. Wilson was appointed probationary firefighter pending background check. Ten positions were placed on the April 16 ballot: three Planning Board, four School Committee, two Select Board, one Library Trustee, and one Water Commission seat, with Town Meeting rescheduled to April 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Town Administrator Steve Poulos reported a $300,000 budget gap, largely from school district assessment pressures, signaling potential need for tax override.
